LEGAL & COMPLIANCE

Assistant Manager
Responsibilities:
  • To assist in drafting, vetting and submitting proposals to Securities Commission (SC) which would involve establishment of new funds, renewals of prospectuses, issuance of supplementary prospectuses and other submissions including but not limited to increase in funds size, exemption, variations and extension of time.
  • To assist in Due Diligence process of prospectuses and other Company related matters.
  • To monitor changes in legislation and other obligations and to communicate them to the business units.
  • To ensure all regulatory notifications are submitted to SC within deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Economics, Commerce, Law or equivalent.
  • Knowledge in Securities Law, capital markets and unit trust is preferred.
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in the related field.

BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS
Executive/Assistant Manager
Responsibilities:
  • To manage and execute marketing communication activities for CIMB-Principal's products and services which includes advertising and public relations.
  • To write speeches, articles, reports, letters, content for marketing collaterals and other forms of communication for the Company.
  • To develop product presentation slides and corporate presentation slides with efficiency and speed.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Mass Communications, Advertising/Media or its equivalent.
  • Good command of English.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in the related field.


MARKET DEVELOPMENT

Assistant Manager
Responsibilities:

  • To conduct ongoing market and fund research and analysis.
  • To identify market trends, investor needs and opportunities for new funds.
  • To assist and work closely with Investment, Marketing and Operations teams in identifying, researching and structuring of new products.
  • To ensure product feasibility, system readiness and preparation of prospectus.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Degree in Investment, Economics, Business or Finance or in other related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience.
  • Those pursuing CFA program is preferred.
  • Possess strong analytical skills with experience in structuring financial products.
  • Possess knowledge and understanding in the areas of finance, economics and investments.
  • Knowledge in unit trust business would be an added advantage.
  • Has the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong verbal, written and high computer literacy skills.

 

INTERNATIONAL MARKETING & DISTRIBUTION
Assistant Manager/Manager
Responsibilities:
  • To contribute to the growth and achievement of sales and profit objectives through effective business initiatives.
  • To meet sales targets by setting up marketing strategies, identifying and secure new distributors.
  • To foster good relationships and maintain contacts with existing distributors.
  • To do client presentations to new and existing distributors.
  • To ensure distributors’ adhoc requests and problems are adequately and promptly attended to.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business or other related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of related working experience.
  • Those with fund manager’s representative license would have an added advantage.
  • Possess strong presentation skills.
  • Able to craft action plans to achieve revenue-minded objectives.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Willingness to travel.
