In determining our equity portfolio, we go through several selection parameters for the portfolio.

From Bursa Malaysia, CIMB-Principal Asset Management uses broker research, quantitative screening and other sources of information to come up with a preliminary list of stocks.

We then perform qualitative and fundamental analysis and identify our own in-house stock picks to come up with an active stock list.

This active stock list is then filtered through our forecast parameters for entry and exit prices to arrive at the equity portfolio.

Global financial analysis, macroeconomic factors, asset allocation, and sector allocation are also factored in selecting and managing the equity portfolio.

The portfolio is then continuously undergoes portfolio tracking and risk management and is reviewed regularly to make sure it meets with compliance requirements.
