Fees & Other Services
  • Fees are charged by reference to the market value of the portfolio.
  • Fees are payable quarterly for quarters to March, June, September and December.
  • Quarterly fees will be prorated depending on the time of portfolio inception.
 
Dealings with Related Parties
We only deal with brokers based on the quality of their research and advisory role. Brokers are ranked quarterly by investment research, execution as well as operations efficiency, and transactions are given out accordingly.

Client Services

At CIMB-Principal we are committed to maintaining the very highest level of client service. Some of the services that you can expect from us include:-
  • Your own client manager who will be available to answer any questions that you may have and will meet with you regularly to keep you fully informed on your fund's performance and CIMB-Principal's activities in managing your funds.
  • Half-yearly presentations (in addition to regular meetings with your own client manager) to provide you with an insight into CIMB-Principal's investment management and the outlook for financial markets.
  • CIMB-Principal's Monthly Report contains details on the performance of your fund against the given benchmark and how it was achieved in addition to a review of investment market conditions.
It also contains monthly accounting reports which provide full details on the monthly activities of your portfolio.

Details of the monthly reports are as follows:-
  1. Details of the Portfolio Value;
  2. Calculation of the total percentage return on the Portfolio for the period including details of any changes in the method and assumptions used in calculation of the return;
  3. A subdivision of Portfolio Value into each major investment class showing market value in Ringgit Malaysia and as a percentage of total Portfolio Value at the end of period date;


  4. Details for each investment in the portfolio include:-

    Name of investment;
    Number of units (eg. Shares = number of shares, Bonds = face value) ;
    Market value per unit;
    Average cost price per investment.


    The list shall be segregated into each major investment class if applicable;

  5. Details of all transactions effected by CIMB-Principal during the period;
  6. Amounts received or accrued during the period to which the report relates;
  7. The management fee; and
  8. Such other information as the Investor may require and as agreed to by CIMB-Principal.
